Elite Obsolete Electronics offers a free limited warranty on all prebuilt iPods sold & offers free 30-day returns & exchanges for any reason on all products sold through eoe.works or eliteobsolete.com

 

To initiate a return of any kind, if you just don't like the product or need to RMA a defective product, please follow visit the return portal:

Products are eligible for this any-reason return policy if returned or exchanged in the same condition as sold, with original packaging (when applicable) & must be returned as a complete set (buyer must return bundled USB cable alongside when returning an iPod)

 

If your product & circumstance are in accordance with the guidelines above, a refund in full can be offered under the 30-day any reason policy. Refund is for the product's MSRP value. Original shipping cost is not refunded under this policy. Exchanges are for another product of the same value.

 

If a return is initiated under the 30-day any-reason return policy, and the product is returned in violation of the above guidelines we are unable to complete the return or exchange.

Limited Warranty Information & FAQ:

 

Policy for brand new prebuilt iPods:

- iPods are covered 1 year from original purchase date NOT delivery date. 

- Warranty DOES COVER defective parts, improper installation of parts, or loss of functionality without liquid/physical damage or signs of user error/mishandling.

- Warranty DOES NOT cover accidental drops, physical or liquid damage detrimental to function, or any loss in functionality due to user accident.

- By attempting to service/tamper/modify the iPod in any way, the end-user WILL VOID the warranty. Examples include: installation of RockBox, disassembly, installing parts, etc.

- iPods sent back for warranty claim will be meticulously inspected, tested, and opened for signs of 3rd party tampering/maintenance & physical or liquid damage.

- Parts installed by our technicians have been marked/logged to maintain the integrity of the warranty. All iPod's serial numbers have also been logged for the same reason.

 

Policy for refurbished new battery prebuilt iPods:

- iPods are covered 180 days from original purchase date NOT delivery date. 

- Warranty DOES COVER defective parts, improper installation of parts, or loss of functionality without liquid/physical damage or signs of user error/mishandling.

- Warranty DOES NOT cover accidental drops, physical or liquid damage detrimental to function, or any loss in functionality due to user accident.

- By attempting to service/tamper/modify the iPod in any way, the end-user WILL VOID the warranty. Examples include: installation of RockBox, disassembly, installing parts, etc.

- Warranty DOES NOT cover accidental drops, physical or liquid damage detrimental to function, or any loss in functionality due to user accident.
